HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office reported in a written statement that guerrillas conducted an action targeting the Ilısu Dam Security Hill in Mardin's Dargeçit (Kerboran) district at 07:00 Tuesday morning. HPG said two soldiers were verified killed in the action conducted with rockets, adding that the number of casualties inflicted here is actually higher. The action was carried out by Martyr Rêzan Vindicative Unit in memory of the Lice martyrs.

HPG reported another action by guerrillas targeting soldiers deployed in Çeperê Şêxa area in Hakkari's Çukurca district at 13:40 on July 4. While the number of casualties couldn't be clarified, Turkish soldiers in the area bombarded the surroundings with howitzer, mortar and artillery fire.
