Two thousand refugees arrive in Efrîn during the past two days

Two thousand refugees from Dêrazor, Bokemal and Shehba regions arrived in Efrîn canton of Rojava (West) Kurdistan over the past two days.

Civilians continue to migrate from Bokemal and Dêrazor because of the clashes between ISIS gangs and the soldiers of the Ba’athist regime, and from the Shehba region  to safe areas because of the clashes between ISIS and SNC gangs.

Two thousand refugees from Dêrazor, Bokemal and Shehba regions arrived at Afrin over the past 48 hours.

Civilians try to escape from the gangs and reach Efrîn canton because ISIS uses them as human shields, forces them to work difficult labor tasks, and tortures them.

Officials from the Efrîn canton stated that the refugees could stay at the Qetmê village of Şera district, or migrate to other parts of Syria if they wish.

41 thousand 237 refugees have arrived in the canton of Efrîn since May 25, 2016.
