The East Kurdistan (YRK) Command released a statement reporting ongoing attacks by the Turkish state.
According to the statement, Turkey’s aggression on the regions of Pênciwîn and Çarta has been continuing since October 3.
“During this period of time, in parallel with the occupying Turkish state, the Iranian regime has deployed a large force with heavy weaponry at the borders of Meriwan, Bane and Serdeştê. Turkish fighter jets hovering over the region, reaching as far as the Iranian border, conduct strikes on Pênciwîn and Çarta.”
YRK reported uninterrupted reconnaissance flights over the region on 6-7 October, and strikes by reconnaissance aircraft and by fighter jets in the vicinity of Badane village.
“Our forces did not suffer any harm as a result of these bombardments but the vineyards and orchards of the local people did. The activities of the enemy continue at the moment. We will provide further information with our people and public opinion at a later time,” the YRK statement added.
