Zebari clan: We stand with those who fight against the invasion

Ebu Ali Bani from the Zebari clan said: “We should unite against invaders like in Kobane. The Zebari clan will stand with the forces who fight against the invasion.”

Ebu Ali Bani from the Zebari clan, whose villages had been evacuated by Saddam Hussein, said there are many peshmergas in their family and that they will serve the unity of Kurds.

“Our village was evacuated by Saddam Hussein during the times of the Anfal Massacre. In 1988 Saddam evacuated all the villages. Not just villages of the Zebari clan, all villages. We were peshmergas then. We had many martyrs during the 1968 coup.”

“THEY WANT TO PIT KURDS AGAINST EACH OTHER”

Ebu Ali pointed to Kurdish unity and said the Kurds have a common enemy, and whoever it is that enters Kurdistan’s lands can be defeated if Kurds are united as they did in Kobane.

“From Saddam to Turkey, Iran or Syria, they are just against Kurds. The enemy is now removing the peshmerga. Zebari peshmergas are peaceful. And they do not regret the martyrs they have lost for Kurdish people. The enemies want to pit Kurds against each other. Zebaris are against Kurds killing Kurds. Kurds must be united in all four parts of Kurdistan, because our enemy is one and the same.

“WE WILL STAND WITH THE FORCES WHO FIGHT”

We will stand with the forces who fight against any enemy that enters Kurdistan’s lands, who pillage our villages. Like the Kurds united in the battle of Kobane, the same must happen again. Then our gains will be united too. The tears of martyrs’ mothers must dry.”
