• Dozens detained in Van 

  The Turkish regime continues its political onslaught against the Kurdish population.
• HPG pays tribute to martyrs Murat, Xemgîn and Artêş 

  The HPG announced the deaths of three guerrilla fighters. Qehreman Murat from Bakur, Rûbar Xemgîn from Rojhilat and Fîraz Artêş from Rojava. They died in September 2022 while resisting the Turkish invasion of Metîna.
• HPG: Turkish army attacked guerrilla areas with chemical weapons 

  The occupying Turkish army attacked the tunnels in the Girê FM Resistance Area in Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region with chemical gas and banned explosives.
• 7 people imprisoned, 2 put under house arrest in Hakkari 

  7 of 9 people who were detained in house raids in Hakkari on 8 May were imprisoned, and the other 2 were sentenced to house arrest.

• HPG publishes balance sheet of war for April

• Iran executes Kurdish prisoner of conscience after 14 years in jail 

  Anvar Khezri was one of seven Kurdish prisoners of conscience who had been sentenced to death in a joint case. Four of his co-defendants have been executed in recent months.
• 13 Turkish soldiers killed in guerrilla action in Metina 

  The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla carried out a coordinated action against the occupying Turkish army in the Şêlazê Resistance Area of Metîna, killing 13 Turkish soldiers.
