PJAK Co-Chair Peyman Viyan stated that the only community that can lead change in the Middle East is the Kurds, saying, “We are going through a very sensitive and historic process. This is a decisive moment."
PJAK said they are ready to cooperate with all Azerbaijani organisations seeking freedom and democracy to strengthen the spirit of democratic convergence between the Kurdish and Azerbaijani peoples.
Drawing attention to the dangers facing Rojhilatê Kurdistan, the KNK announced that it is working to form a common platform among political parties and institutions in the region.
The Democratic Unity Initiative called on the governments in Ankara, Hewler, and Baghdad to lift the siege and embargo on the Maxmur refugee camp, where daily needs are not met, municipal services are not provided, and the right to health is denied.
