Fighting between SDF and ISIS intensified on the eastern and western fronts of Raqqa at 21:30 last night. ISIS gangs were inflicted severe blows during the fighting in al-Dariyah neighborhood where 11 ISIS members were killed and bodies of 3 were seized alongside a large quantity of ammunition.

Special forces within the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have reportedly freed over a thousand civilians in al-Deraay and al-Tayarah neighborhoods and transferred them to safe areas. During the evacuation, two civilians got wounded as a result of fire opened by the gangs.

On the other hand, the Rawda neighborhood east of Old Raqqa and northeast of the city also witnessed fierce clashes during which 12 ISIS members were killed and many arms were seized from the gangs.

Clashes in this neighborhood continued into the morning and 6 SDF fighters got injured during the fighting.
