25 lorries of humanitarian aid collected for the people of Rojava have been sent from Şenyurt Border Gate to the city of Dirbesiyê in Rojava on Thursday.

Aids collected in Hakkari and Van were first delivered to Mardin's Nusaybin and Kızıltepe districts where all the materials were gathered together and then conveyed to Kızılay (red crescent) teams at the Şenyurt border gate.

The aid convoy which is also being accompanied by journalists Cengiz Çandar and Nuray Mert has been subjected to a detail search by Turkish soldiers before reaching the border crossing.

The aid materials are being sent to the Dirbesiyê city.
