Arrest warrants have been issued against 31 people over “sharing false news on coronavirus on social media” as part of an investigation by the Chief Public Prosecutor of Adana.
31 people have been taken into custody in the operation. The detainees are accused of “spreading fear and panic among people, disclosing and publishing personal data unlawfully”.
