The night before, ISIS gangs attacked Nur neighbourhood in west Raqqa and heavy clashes unfolded upon the response of YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), continuing for hours. 21 gang members, 2 snipers included, were killed, while a gang member handed himself in to the fighters with his bomb-vest and arms.

Friday afternoon, battles erupted and continued into the late hours in Mensûr neighbourhood east of Raqqa and around the Neim crossroad. 18 ISIS members were killed here, and a mortar of the gangs was destroyed.

Clashes continue east and west of Raqqa city in all intensity.
