A monthly detention review was conducted for 108 people, 18 of whom are in prison, in the ongoing Kobanê Case at the Ankara 22nd High Criminal Court.

In the interim decision uploaded to the National Judicial Network Information System (UYAP), the court panel rejected the requests from the jailed politicians and their lawyers for release and the suspension of the trial.

In the interim decision, the court panel also evaluated the requests for the release of Gültan Kışanak and Sebahat Tuncel, who exceeded the maximum detention period of 7 years, and rejected them.

The delegation also evaluated the requests regarding other politicians separately and rejected the request to be trial without detention, claiming that for the currently imprisoned politicians there exists "suspicion of escape".
