After the attack carried out by Pkk guerrillas on an army post in Semdinli yesterday, the Turkish army started an air operation flying and bombing across the border in Iraqi territory. According to information obtained by ANF one woman died as a result of the bombing. Her name was Ruþen Mihemed Heci Mecid. Three other civilians have been wounded in the air strike.

The attack on Semdinli army post resulted in the death of 11 soldiers and the wounding of 16. Two guerrillas have lost their live and their bodies have been taken to Semdinli hospital.
