Before the last hearing today of the trial of Ecevit Piroğlu, who has been imprisoned in Serbia for 18 months because the Turkish state requested his extradition, a protest took place in Athens.

DKP/BÖG, MKP, MLKP, TKP/ML as well as many leftist organizations attended the action organized in front of the Serbian Consulate by Athens Kurdish Cultural Center and Athens TCŞ and TekoJIN members.

Activists said that the extradition of Ecevit Piroğlu, who was fighting against fascism in Turkey, is against the law and humanity.
