Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) denied any negotiations with Kurdistan Worker's Party or its leader Abdullah Ocalan.
In a written statement posted to its website AKP labelled all the reports about negotiations with Ocalan or PKK as speculations.
"AKP and AKP government is not negotiating with an illegal organization" the statement said.
AKP said the speculations are deliberate attempts to affect the outcome of the constitutional referendum which will be held on September 12.
