Journalist Sabah el Hayati was killed in a firearm attack in front of his house in Mosul, said Iraqi police. Police also reported that the attackers managed to escape after the incident.

It is reported that the killed journalist was presenting a TV programme called “our mosques” at a satellite channel called El Musuliye. The day before another journalist of El Irakiye TV was Riyad el Saray was also killed in Baghdad.
