An armed attack took place on the house of HPG martyr Yavuz Elik (Karker Sema)’s family who lost their son in the fight against ISIS. Elik family’s house is located in the Yenidoğan Neighborhood of İstanbul’s Sancaktepe district.

ATTACK FROM A WHITE VAN

Unidentified people attacked the HPG martyr’s family’s house last night at 02:00, and Ayşe Elik said that she heard gunshots 5 minuted after everyone went to bed. Elik noted that she saw bullet holes on the windows and around the house when gunshots ended, and neighbors stated that they saw the attackers shoot at the house from a white van.

Police found 14 bullet shells at the crime scene, but there have not yet been any arrests.
