Accused of being  members of HÖC organization (Rights and Freedom Front), 28 people were detained following house raids in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.

Following the raids, part of an operation against HÖC, in the early hours of the morning; 28 people,including KESK members, were detained. Among the detainees are KESK (Confederation of Public Workers Unions) Organization Secretary Akman Þimþek, SES (Health Workers Union) Women Secretary Meryem Özsöðüt and BES Ankara Branch Chairman Ahmet Dadanoðlu.
