In a statement made to journalists yesterday after her meeting with President Abdullah Gül, BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) co-chair Gulten Kýþanak said that the discussion was about the situation and the sensitive time Turkey is going through. Kýþanak underlined that the Turkish Assembly is the place to find a solution to the problem. Remarking that the problem must be resolved through dialogue and peaceful ways, Kýþanak said; "We have been trying to point out this danger and stop it at our group meetings for nearly two months. Turkey is on the edge of a cliff. Someone must say stop to this situation. Our warnings weren't given any consideration."
