Children of Fire Initiative carries out actions in three cities
The Children of Fire Initiative carried out a series of actions in Erdemli (Mersin), Zeytinburnu Maltepe and Küçükçekmece (Istanbul) and Manavgat (Anlatya).
The Children of Fire Initiative said in a written statement that it carried out a number of actions in Mersin, Istanbul and Antalya.
The statement said that a warehouse of a house belonging to someone who was found to be a fascist producer in the Kumkuyu neighborhood of Erdemli district of Mersin was set on fire on 16 April.
The statement added that on 16 April a recycling facility was set on fire in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul.
On 17 April a paper factory in Küçükçekmece (Istanbul) was set on fire, while a 200-person cruise boat named Brothers Five Nordic was set on fire in Antalya.
The fire on the first boat spread to a second boat named Grand Linda and both suffered heavy damages.
The statement said: "Fascist bosses who supported barbarity by obtaining income from tourism suffered substantial financial losses as a result of the fire."
