According to the information received, Güzel Konak Gendarme Station between Þemdinli and Yüksekova was attacked by guerillas at evening hours yesterday. A soldier was wounded during the attack and taken to Hakkari Military Hospital while a military operation was started in the region.

At the same hours, a missile attack was carried out on the military unit in Çukurca. A clash broke out following the attack on the military unit on Kiyariz Hill, the most dominant place in Çukurca. There is no information available concerning the conclusions of the attack and clash.
