Necmettin Demiralp, an executive member of the Democratic Kurdish Council in France (CDK-F), criticized the attitude of the French authorities regarding the murders targeting Kurds, and said that they should be "more active to bring the real culprits to justice".
Speaking to ANF, Demiralp said that the Kurdish Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people were targeted with the political massacres in Paris and that France was trying to cover this up. Demiralp said that Kurds themselves are working to expose the reality behind the murders and added: "If we cannot achieve this, we will continue to be victims. This oppression and cruelty is no longer acceptable and we must develop very different methods of struggle against it. Classical forms of action to ensure that this state takes a step back are clearly not enough. We must look for very different struggle methods and ways to ensure law and justice."
Demiralp said that they expect the Kurdish people and their friends to back them in this new wave of actions and added that the Kurdish people should not be left alone.
Demiralp called on everybody to attend both the action to be held on 23 December, the anniversary the Kurdish cultural centre massacre when Evin Goyi, Abdurrahman Kızıl and Mir Perwer were killed and the action to be held on 6 January, the anniversary of the killings of Sakine Cansiz, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Saylemez.
