Speaking at the opening of BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Province Organization, BDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaþ said; “26 children were killed in the years of the AKP government. Dear Prime Minister, do you have enough conscience to go to the families of these children and offer your condolences? The answer is: you don’t.”

BDP Province Organization’s opening in Genç/Bingöl was held with the participation of thousands. Coming to the province for the opening, BDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaþ was welcomed by hundreds of people at the entrance of the province.

Demirtaþ stated that BDP is not backed by nobody in its fight for freedom and emphasized that the party fights for people’s freedom with the support of people.

Demirtaþ also said: “You must have an honorable standing against those who oppress you. Primarily Tayyip Erdoðan; who grudge our children education in Zaza must see the insistence of Zaza people. Since the first years of the Republic, Kurdish people have done much more than necessary for the unity and solidarity of this country and to live their own culture and beliefs. However, all powers insistently declared Kurdish people as reactionary, separatist or terrorists. Everybody should listen to the voice of conscience on this matter.”

Demirtaþ called the tragedy in Palestine “ruthlessness and state terror”, while the Prime Minister Erdoðan only called “ruthlessness and terror” . Demirtaþ added; “If this is a state terror, why is the same cruelty applied on Kurdish children? Why are they sentenced to 15-20 years imprisonment? Islam is Islam all over the world. Being Muslim and oppressing your own people; this is called denigration of Islam.”
