The demonstrations organized to protest against the death of nine HPG (People's Defence Forces) Kurdish guerrillas in Hakkari, lasted till late hours in all Hakkari neighborhoods.

While demonstrations are continuing in different areas of Hakkari, an armoured police vehicle was stoned and overthrown by demonstrators. According to the first reports coming in 3 policemen in the vehicle were wounded while a number of police and ambulances were sent to the venue. Police officers fired their gun into the air while taking the wounded policemen out of the vehicle.

The tension between demonstrators and police lasted till late hours in Keklikpýnar, Bicer, Yeni and Daðgöl Neighboorhoods.

In the meantime, demonstrators in Þemdinli/Hakkari came together in the evening hours in Moda, Karþýyaka neighborhoods and on the beltway, staging a demonstration by ligting fires. There was a tension between two sides when police attacked demonstrators, who wanted to enter in the city center. And the police attack was responded with molotov cocktails and stones. The demonstrations in the county lasted till late hours at night.
