The second explosion took place 20 minutes after the first one in bus stops located in the city of Gombe to the northeast of Nigeria. Eyewitnesses stated that the first explosion took place in Dadin Kowa bus stop around 19:30 and the second one happened in Dukku bus stop around 20:00 last night.
A medical personnel said that at least 12 people died in Dadin Kowa and more than 30 people died in Dukku. Many civilians have been injured and are receiving treatments in different hospitals.
Gombe province officials confirmed the first attack but stated that they had not yet identified the perpetrators of the attack or the way in which the attack took place. Boko Haram gangs had carried out multiple bomb attacks and killed 49 people in Gombe last Thursday.
