In parallel with the total warfare concept of the AKP government, operations of political genocide continue across Turkey and North Kurdistan where dozens have been detained.

ERZURUM

Simultaneous house raids were conducted by police in Hamzanlar (Hêccergo), Yuvaklı (Gırsok) and Çukuryayla (Bastok) neighborhoods of Erzurum's Tekman district today. 13 people including executives of the HDP have been detained in the operation, after which they were taken to district police quarters following medical check at state hospital. The number of detainees is expected to increase.

İSTANBUL

Anti-terror police teams raided a number of houses in Maltepe, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye and Beylikdüzü districts of Istanbul and detained seven people who include executives and members of the HDP. The detainees were taken to police headquarters following an inspection at hospital.

ADANA

Soldiers affiliated to Yüreğir District Gendarme Command carried out an expansive operation in Misis and Geçitli neighborhoods of Adana's Yüreğir district. Following a detailed search in all the houses, soldiers detained four people who were taken to Yüreğir District Gendarme Command.

ADIYAMAN

Teams of police and soldiers conducted simultaneous raids targeting 14 addresses in Adıyaman's Yeni Sanayi and Bahçecik neighborhoods, Kömür town and Sarıkaya (Çig) village.

13 people were detained in the operation during which police and soldiers searched all the houses in detail. Following medical check at Adıyaman University Training and Research Hospital, detainees were taken to provincial police headquarters.

MUŞ

Six people who had been detained in house raids in Varto district of Muş three days ago were referred to the prosecutor's office following procedures at district Gendarme Command. Sent to a court with q request for their arrest, the six detainees were remanded in custody and sent to Muş E Type Closed Prison on charges of membership to a terrorist organization and committing crime on behalf of the organization.

VAN

Four people formerly detained in house raids in Çatak district of Van, including DBP district executives, were referred to a court following procedures at district police quarters. The detainees who were taken into custody in relation with the armed attack on district police and gendarme quarters on July 31 were later released by court.

HAKKARİ

Out of 58 people who were detained in Yüksekova district of Hakkari yesterday, 38 were released after giving their statements at prosecutor's office, while the other 14 are expected to be referred to court today.

In the meantime, it is reported that the detainees were battered and tortured while under custody at police quarters.
