Dozens of civilians from Hajin town reach liberated areas

Dozens of civilians fleeing from the atrocity of ISIS gangs in Hajin town have reached the Îwa Camp.

As the last phase of the Operation Cizire Storm launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on September 11 to defeat terrorism to the east of the Euphrates continues, Deir ez-Zor Civil Assembly opened the Îwa Camp for the civilians who flee from ISIS captivity in Hajin town.

Dozens of civilians have reached the camp since yesterday. Deir ez-Zor Civil Assembly provides all necessary humanitarian aid for the residents who reach the camp.

One of the displaced persons, Abdullah El-İsa, stated that they had remained under the siege of ISIS for some 41 days, adding; “I tried to flee several times but failed. I managed to reach the camp through the safety corridor opened after the approach of the SDF.”

El-İsa told that the civilians currently besieged in Hajin town are in a very difficult situation because of the atrocities of ISIS mercenaries.
