A two-day Long March started in The Hague as part of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Now" campaign.
The Dutch leg of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Now" campaign, which was launched to demand the end of the isolation imposed upon Kurdish people's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and his freedom, started in The Hague.
Along with the giant poster of Abdullah Öcalan, the banner "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, status for Kurdistan" was carried during the march.
Leaflets drawing attention to the isolation of Imrali were read. The slogans “Bê Serok Nabe” and “Bijî Serok Apo” were chanted frequently.
The march will continue today at 11am in Westerpark, located at Polonceaukade 23 in Amsterdam.
