Erdogan ruled out negotiations with the PKK

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ruled out any negotiations with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

In a party meeting in Maras, Erdogan told to the AKP supporters that no negotiations taken place with the PKK. "This is a coward accusation" he said.

Erdogan said that AKP will never negotiate with a "terrorist organization".

PKK declared an unilateral ceasefire last week. There were reports that this ceasefire was declared after informal negotiations between AKP and Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and the PKK.
