Australian police found the Kurdish detainee who escaped from Christmas Island's Detention Centre yesterday.
He was brought back in the detention centre last night. The police found the immigrant 500 meters from the boundary. He only had a blanket to cover himself.
Australian police first took him to a local hospital and brought him back to the center.
Last April another detainee escaped from the center. He was also caught by the police.
Australia puts illegal immigrants to detention centers build in a number of islands before deportation.
Human Rights Organizations are highly critical of Australia's immigration policy of isolating and detaining immigrants who enters Australia illegally.
