The Free Kurdistan Federation of East Germany (FED-KURD) called for participation in the 32nd International Kurdish Culture Festival to be held in Frankfurt on 21 September.
FED-KURD co-chair Menderes Canbek made a statement on behalf of FED-KURD, and said: "Rêber Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] is being held under isolation, torture and genocide within the walls of Imrali. Rêber Apo is engaged in a historical resistance there.
The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas are also showing great resistance against the enemy’s most advanced techniques and technology in the mountains of Kurdistan. Prisoners are resisting in the jails of Turkey and Kurdistan. We are also opening up a resistance area in Europe."
Canbek added: "This is our 32nd festival. This year, we are organizing this historical festival against the Kurdish cultural massacre. We call on everyone to come and show our enemy that we will not give up our culture and our Leadership. We will break isolation, and solve the Kurdish question."
The festival will be held in Rebstockpark in Frankfurt on 21 September.
