Following the intervention at the press conference of BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Esenyurt District Organization concerning the military operations and the torture on HPG (People Defense Force) guerillas, police raided BDP district building and detained 50 people.

The search, ordered by Istanbul Public Prosecution Office, lasted nearly an hour and ended with a police report. 50 people, including BDP District Executives, were taken to Esenyurt District Police Station.

It was reported that the detainees will be taken to Istanbul Police Station on Vatan Street afterwards.

On the other hand, the relatives of the detainees were exposed to physical intervention by police when they came to the District Police Station to receive information about the detainees.
