Bodies of 5 Kurdish guerrillas who are claimed to have lost their life in the clashes took place in Besiri district of Batman the other day are brought to the local hospital in Besiri. It is also reported that the bodies are all burnt and unidentifiable.

Clashes broke out between HPG guerrillas and the Turkish soldiers who were running an operation in Hicre region near Besiri. Turkish officials claimed that while 2 Turkish sergeants were killed 5 PKK fighters also lost their lives as a result of the helicopter bombardments.

HPG has not issued a press release regarding the clashes.
