Four out of 9 people who were detained following the house raids in Siirt and Eruh yesterday, have been remanded in custody.
Nine people including BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Province and County Chairmen and executives, who were detained during the simultaneous house raids carried out by the police, were taken to Eruh Public Prosecution Office after giving their statements. While 5 of the detainees were released, BDP Eruh Province Chairman Abdurahman Alçiçek; Melahat Taþçý, Þirin Batur and Ali Yýldýz were sent to Siirt F Type Jail on charges of “helping an illegal organization knowingly and deliberately” and “bringing people into the illegal organization”.
