The bodies of 4 guerrillas, who lost their lives during the clash following the ambush carried out by Turkish army despite the inaction position of PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), will be taken from Þemdinli State Hospital and buried today.

Refusing the offer of Þemdinli Public Prosecution to take and bury the bodies at midnight hours, Þemdinli Municipality authorities will take and bury the bodies of guerrillas in Altýnsu (Þafakan) Village graveyard with a funeral today.

The tension is continuing in the county, while all shops are closed down due to the funeral. And a convoy has moved to Þemdinli to participate in the funeral.

On the other hand, there are details coming up about the clash. According to the news received, special units of Turkish army in the region ambushed 4 HPG guerrillas close to Nuxayilan village on 20 August, around 23.00 o’clock. Following the ambush, a heavy clash broke out, which lasted till the small hours. One gendarme specialist corporal died and a soldier was wounded in the clash. And the points of guerrillas were bombed with intensive air support by early hours in the morning. 2 of them being women, 4 guerrillas lost their lives in the clash which was carried out by Turkish army with a rich mechanism and lasted till 12.00.
