The People's United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Berran Özen Kırmızıgül Militia carried out an action against plainclothes police in Istanbul on the evening of 22 August.

The militia opened fire on a plainclothes police vehicle passing by in Hadımköy.

Witnesses said that the police fled the scene in panic.
