Photographs of slain Kurdish activists hung on Paris’ 10th Arrondissement City Hall

Photographs of Kurdish activists who were murdered in Paris on December 23, 2022 and January 9, 2013 were hung on the wall of Paris 10th Arrondissement City Hall.

Commemoration events continue in Paris for KCK Executive Council Member Evîn Goyî, artist Mîr Perwer and activist Abdurrahman Kızıl, who were murdered on 23 December 2022 and PKK founding member Sakine Cansız (Sara), Fîdan Doğan (Rojbîn) and Leyla Şaylemez (Ronahî), who were murdered by the Turkish state in Paris on 9 January 2013, 

The photographs of the victims of two massacres against Kurdish activists were hung on the wall of Paris 10th Arrondissement City Hall.

“LES KURDES FRAPPÉ DEUX FOIS EN 10 ANS Â PARIS (Kurds shot twice in 10 years in Paris) was written on the photos.

The Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center, where the second Paris Massacre took place, is located within the boundaries of the 10th Arrondissement of Paris. The photographs of the victims will remain on the wall of the city hall between December 23 and January 9.
