HBDH: We hit enemy's logistics line in Amed

HBDH’s Osman Akgün Militia reported that the group targeted a "Turkish army logistics line" in the Hazro district of Amed (Diyarbakir) city.

In a statement, the Osman Akgün Militia of the Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) announced that they had targeted a Turkish military vehicle used for logistical purposes in Amed's Hazro district, saying: “We hit the enemy's logistics line.”

“The war is escalating. The heroic resistance of the united revolutionary guerrillas is growing in the Medya Defense Zones. Our people's struggle for freedom is increasing in cities, squares and factories. The united revolutionary struggle continues to grow, organize and become a hope for the liberation of the peoples,” the statement released on Friday said.

“We continue to strike blows to the enemy forces in the spirit of self-sacrifice and determination we inherited from our 1996 Indefinite Hunger Strike and Death Fast martyrs. We are kindling the fire of freedom in the footsteps of our immortals!

At around 18:00 on July 12, our militia struck the enemy in the Hazro district of Amed. In the Mereni-Koçbaba triangle, we carried out an action against a vehicle carrying supplies to Koçbaba outpost. The vehicle loaded with military materials was destroyed through the detonation of an activated mine we had placed on the road, and the driver was killed. An ambulance was then sent to the scene accompanied by armoured vehicles and firefighters. Immediately after the action, artillery fire was commenced from the outpost on the opposite hills. Our militias withdrew from the area without suffering any casualties.

We vow to increase our struggle in the footsteps of Comrade Osman Akgün, whom we lost on the 69th day of the 1996 Indefinite Hunger Strike and Death Fast Resistance, and all our other immortals!”
