A solidarity event with Heyva-Sor was organized by the Kurdish People's Assembly in London.

HDP  former MP Osman Baydemir, Kobanê House anti-fascist groups, martyrs' families, British Heyva-Sor Representative Av. Nejla Ari and many others attended the night.

Speaking on behalf of Heyva-Sor, Nejla Ari emphasized the solidarity expressed by Kurdish people and added that this is very important. 

"The Kurdish people are opposing the barbarian and reactionary forces with a spirit of solidarity and unity and with a great patriotism example. However, the possibilities are limited, the conditions are very difficult. Solidarity and support is also an answer to the attacks carried out by Turkey against human dignity."

The music group Denge Zin from the British Kurdish People's Assembly took the stage at the event together with Hozan Zeyna and Hozan Kawa.

Baydemir: We demand unity

HDP former MP Osman Baydemir said: "We demand unity and solidarity from our parties and our leaders. We demand a common diplomacy."

Baydemir added: "We have to put the sense of nation before everything."
