ILPS continues its month of activities for Kurdistan

The International League of Peoples' Struggle has been organising a full month of activities as part of the “Stop isolation, fascism and occupation! Freedom for Öcalan! Freedom for Kurdistan!" campaign.

The International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS), which includes many anti-imperialist and democratic movements around the world, has been organising a full month of activities as part of the “Stop isolation, fascism and occupation! Freedom for Öcalan! Freedom for Kurdistan!" campaign.

One of the highlights of the campaign has been 20 November, Global Day of Action “Stop isolation, fascism and occupation! Freedom for Öcalan! Freedom for Kurdistan!" It has been a whole day of online and offline solidarity protests aimed to amplify the calls of the people of Kurdistan against isolation, fascism, and occupation, and for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.

Within the scope of the months of solidarity with Kurdistan, the minorities, oppressed nations and nationalities under the ILPS Commission 10 and Indigenous Peoples networks of International Indigenous Peoples Movement for Self-Determination and Liberation (IPMSDL) issued a statement underlining that "The Turkish colonial aggression and expansionism continue to attack the advancement of Kurdish national liberation movement. This includes year-long campaigns of harassment and arrests of activists and murder of revolutionaries."
