Internationalists marching in Switzerland call for solidarity with earthquake victims

Internationalists marching from Switzerland to France for the freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan called for solidarity with earthquake survivors.

The long march of the internationalists, launched in Switzerland for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan, resumed on the third day in the city of Bern.

The internationalists observed a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the earthquakes in North Kurdistan. They offered condolences to the families of the victims of the two devastating earthquakes that shook the region on Monday.

The activists pointed out that thousands of people are still under the rubble and the Turkish state is blocking aid efforts.

“We call on revolutionaries and democrats around the world to show solidarity with earthquake survivors.”

The activists are expected to reach the city of Burgdorf after covering 25 kilometres during the day.
