Iran banned use of Kurdish language in schools

Iran banned the use of Kurdish language in all schools in city of Saqiz in East Kurdistan.

Director of Education in Saqiz, Muzaafer Rostemi sent a written order to all schools in the city that says use of Kurdish language in schools are banned.

The order says all teachers and education personel has to use Persian in classes and daily life.

Iran became the second country in the world which bans use of Kurdish language in its education system.
