KCDK-E calls for mobilization for Rojava against Turkish invasion

“The Turkish state is preparing to invade Rojava! Let's mobilize and embrace the women's revolution and Rojava,” said the European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress.

The European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) released a written statement about the Turkish state’s increasingly ongoing attacks and renewed invasion attempts against North-East Syria.

KCDK-E pointed out that the genocidal Turkish state and dictator Erdogan deepened the invasion attempt against Rojava, the centre of freedom.

'Our achievements are targeted'

The statement continued: “The invading Turkish army has been escalating its attacks against North-East Syria since June 7, 2023. Attacks against the people of Rojava have become frequent. These attacks continue within the knowledge of the regional states.

The AKP-MHP fascist government and all its allies, which got out of control with the euphoria of the election victory won in an oppressive and anti-democratic environment, have mobilized to massacre the Kurds and destroy all their democratic achievements.

The high intensity conflict before and after the elections aims to expand occupations to further areas. The Turkish state also has ambitions to invade Bashur (South Kurdistan) alongside Rojava. Although the regional states and international powers are aware of this genocide, they turn a blind eye to it for their own interests.

It is obvious that the aim is to eliminate the paradigm of coexistence that will lead the Kurdish people, the Middle East and humanity to salvation. All the achievements of the paradigm of coexistence are targeted.

This aggression, which intensified after the public declaration of the trial of ISIS members, aims to cast a veil over the realities in the Middle East and the ISIS-Turkish state partnership and to eliminate the Kurds’ will.

The Turkish state has not withdrawn from any place it has occupied so far, and carried out assimilation and genocide in Afrin, Girê Sipî and Serêkaniyê. It destroys everything that belongs to the Kurds, including the oldest values of the peoples.

It is necessary to see that the invading Turkish army has a very serious and clear goal of occupying and dekurdifying the region. It also replaces the Kurdish population by people from other places in the region.

'Rojava must be embraced'

The Kurdish people, the honourable world public opinion and everyone who advocates freedom should oppose the Kurdish genocide and embrace Rojava by showing their reaction. The Turkish state, which wants to annex Rojava and the region, is an occupying power in the region and is committing crimes against humanity.

On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne, an ordinary approach by the Kurdish people and their friends against these invasion attacks and the Kurdish genocide is unacceptable. We call for a resistance that requires mobilization and continuity.

On this basis, we call on everyone to mobilize against occupation and genocide and to defend the Rojava revolution and its lands.

As the KCDK-E, we urge everyone to act immediately to defend Rojava against invasion.”
