Releasing a statement to mark the World Peace Day September 1, Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Presidency called Kurdish people to take to the streets on this day in response to the policies followed by the ruling AKP government.

Strongly criticizing the AKP government for using the Kurdish issue as an instrument serving its policies and games, KCK warned the government that the Kurdish movement would have to say stop to this immorality and irresponsibility if the government failed to take an urgent step serving the solution of the Kurdish issue.
KCK called on the public opinion to stand against the anti-solution policies of the Turkish state and to enhance the struggle for the achievement of a solution to the Kurdish issue and democrazation in Turkey.
"People must fill the areas in Turkey and Kurdistan on World Peace Day to protest against the immoral and irresponsible policies of the AKP government", KCK added.
