According to the press release from HPG Kurdish guerrillas targeted a train carrying military vehicles and equipments at 8:30 in the morning. As a result 8 railway wagons were derailed and the military equipments were destroyed. It is reported that the operation started by the Turkish army two hours after the attack is still continuing.

HPG also stated that although the entire train was targeted after realising that the civilians are also travelling with the train only the wagons belong to military were attacked. HPG further warned the civilians not to travel with the trains carrying military equipments.
