Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan blamed Turkish Prime Minister for threatening him and told his lawyers that he will fight until “last breath” in their weekly meeting in Imrali Island Prison.
On AKP’s party assembly speech Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan defended military in war against the PKK and said Turkish state is more that determined.
“I will fight. I will fight with honor until my last breath” Ocalan said in reply.
“Governing AKP is following Anglo-Saxons politics and pro-Kurdish political ascension is a part of it” Kurdish leader claimed. “Kurdish question can not be solved in frame of individual rights” Ocalan said.
Ocalan told his lawyers that he did everything he could for a democratic solution to Kurdish question for over 12 years.
“But Turkey’s afraid of peace” he added.
Ocalan compared Turkish-Kurdish relations with “forced marriages” and said that Turks and Kurds can not stay together without free will. He warned of partition of Turkey if political actors fail to establish an agreement between Turks and Kurds.
Ocalan said he is in favor of peace but insisted that he needs an interlocutor to play his role on peacemaking process.
Ocalan also mentioned that he has the power to withdraw guerrilla forces in just two days if certain criteria is met.
Kurdish leader warned Kurdish Regions president Masud Barzani of a slaughter against Kurdish people and told him not to depend on Western powers.
