Protests against the Turkish state's comprehensive attacks on Rojava are spreading. Kurds and their friends gathered in Athens on Wednesday. The protest was organized by the European Democratic Kurdish Society Congress (KCDK-E). Activists protested the attacks in front of the Turkish embassy.
A banner saying "Stop the genocide in Kurdistan" was unfurled.
Activists were attacked by the Greek police. Kurds closed the road to traffic after the attack, chanting "Bijî Kurdistan".
Kurds and their friends marched towards the Academia in the city center after the police attack.
Speaking there, Kurdish politician Hasan Hüseyin Ebem condemned the police attack on the action against Turkey's invasion attacks and said: "As long as these attacks continue, we, as the Kurdish people, will be taking the streets. Our action was attacked because the Greek government received the green light from Erdoğan. Despite all the attacks, our actions will continue."
