Kurds living in Athens send letters to Abdullah Öcalan

Kurds living in Athens sent letters to Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan before the anniversary of the 15 February international conspiracy.

On the anniversary of 15 February 1999, when Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was abducted in Turkey as the result of an international conspiracy, demonstrations for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan are intensifying.

Kurds living in Athens sent letters to Imrali Island within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish question" international initiative, which has been carried out since 10 October.

Speaking after the letters were sent to Abdullah Öcalan, Kurdish politician Seval Gülmez condemned the international conspiracy on its 25th anniversary.

Gülmez said: “The conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is a conspiracy in which most of the world is directly involved. There is nothing acceptable about it. The isolation of our leader has been maintained for 25 years."

Gülmez added: "We will not accept the conspiracy against Mr. Abdullah Öcalan and we will continue to work to break isolation and ensure his freedom.”
