The Long March for the freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan has resumed in Ludwigsburg, Germany on its second day.
The annual Long March in Germany for the freedom of Öcalan has started this year in Heilbronn. Young activists have started the second day of the march in Ludwigsburg.
The young people, who ended the first day of their march with great enthusiasm, will start the second day of the march from Ludwigsburg today. Hundreds of young people from all over Europe expressed that they felt responsible and participated in the march in order to respond to the current situation.
At the end of the first day of the march, the young activists debated over Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm in a seminar.
'WE’LL KEEP ACTIONS FOR ÖCALAN'
In a statement, the young activists said: “We have participated in the march with the sense of responsibility to carry out continuous actions for the physical freedom of Öcalan. Especially as we marked the 10th anniversary of the massacre of comrades Sara, Rojbin and Ronahi, the killing of comrade Evin outraged us, the Kurdish youth living in Europe. Those responsible for this fascist attack are obvious. These are fascist states.
We, young people, will not allow this. We will thwart the international conspiracy. We will remove the isolation and ensure the physical freedom of Öcalan.”
Serhed Baran from TCŞ raised concern over the earthquake in Bakure (North) Kurdistan and called on the Kurds living in Europe to show solidarity with survivors. The young activists also condemned the AKP-MHP government which has transferred earthquake funds to war and unplanned urbanization.
