Man who murdered three Kurdish activists in Paris taken into custody again

The man who murdered three Kurdish activists in Paris on Friday was taken into custody again.

69-year-old William M., who murdered three Kurdish activists and injured three others in an armed attack on the Kurdish Cultural Center and two Kurdish workplaces in Paris on Friday, was detained again after being taken to a psychiatric clinic for health reasons.

It was decided that the killer was suitable for detention in the clinic affiliated to the police and he was detained again on Sunday afternoon. It was reported that the detention period could last until Monday morning.

The Paris Prosecutor's Office, one day after the massacre, lifted the detention order, saying that the killer was taken to the Paris Police Department Psychiatric Hospital, because of his poor health. The Prosecutor said: "The doctor who examined the suspect declared that his health was not suitable for detention."
