BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Erciþ District Organization has promoted a march to draw attention to the recently increased operations and clashes.

Over a thousand people came together in front of BDP district building and walked out from Dalan Street to Zilan Street to protest against the operations and clashes. Çelebibaðý Mayor Veysel Keser and the munipicial board were also there.

The mass chanted slogans and carried banners saying; “End for the operations, Ýmrali is the one answerer.”, “Down with AKP (Justice and Development Party)”, “Long live the brotherhood of people”, “Say stop to the cultural pogrom”.

The walk,which was supported also by shopkeepers, was followed by the statement of BDP District Chairman Ramazan Alver. Alver stated that they don’t want to see blood and tear and said thatb AKP is responsible for the clashes.

Emphasizing that the turkish people want to arm their children, not their corpses, Alver said; “Dear Prime Minister should establish a dialogue with Mr.Öcalan rather than sitting at Gediktepe position. Mr.Öcalan is the real answerer of the problem.”
